The #funkwhale subreddit is now private as part of the #redditblackout that's currently happening.

Why only now? Because I keep forgetting we even have a subreddit. Reddit is just awful.
Would you consider to use kbin instead as an alternative to reddit?
I think there's a Lemmy community, but to be honest the core team focuses on our forum.
I have considered using Lemmy in the past but knowing that Lemmy didn't support other instances like kbin makes me move over to kbin instead. Kbin is a lot more friendly towards Lemmy and Mastodon
based on what I understand, Lemmy doesn't support kbin well but kbin supports Lemmy so imo kbin is better
ya that's unfortunate. Resources hosted on instances will be gone together with the host. Why not run your own instance of mastodon or kbin, that way, you can ensure that it stays up and also increase visibility due to the federated nature of this platform?
I understand and that's fine. If forum works for you then there's no reason to migrate your community. It takes a lot of work to migrate community.
