The enthusiast market will already have built their stuff and the advertisement focused on the AI features, which doesn't really have much to do with framework as a company.
Maybe AMD just wanted somebody to use that CPU in a product to gift to people to grow their AI ecosystem, and framework just happened to be the company they asked to do it?
