Today, we introduced the Framework Desktop, a tiny 4.5L Mini-ITX desktop powered by AMD’s massive new Ryzen AI Max processors. Pre-orders are open now, with first shipments in early Q3 2025.

Framework laptops are pretty nice actually.

I liked the announcements for pretty much everything except the desktop. That one just confused me as to who that's for.
The enthusiast market will already have built their stuff and the advertisement focused on the AI features, which doesn't really have much to do with framework as a company.

Maybe AMD just wanted somebody to use that CPU in a product to gift to people to grow their AI ecosystem, and framework just happened to be the company they asked to do it?

frameworks laptops are nice, my favourite feature being the fact you can change ports on your laptop on the go.
