Australia's mining barons never want the public thinking too hard about the basis of their astronomical wealth, which is ultimately the legal equivalent of 'finders keepers.'

The country's richest person has done nothing to justify her riches - no inventing or producing, just taking - which is why Rinehart's so desperate to bank roll entire foundations and political parties and media networks to keep everyone distracted, and the sweet cash flowing in. Works too.
