Today's grammar discovery:

"Exploitive" is a neologism. "Exploitative" is the English standard - yes, on both sides of the Atlantic. I stand amazed.
As is 'acclimate' (shudder) a neologism. Or is it a case of too many syllables? I'm inclined to go with that.
Letters like 'u' have been removed. If you don't sound it, why have it? The natural progression is that Arctic becomes Artic, Australia becomes Ustraya, or Straya, and America becomes Murica.
Alannic, not Atlantic. Siffic (guess). It's sort of a return to phonetic spelling, but with more of the word missing.
