Listening to Steeleye Span a lot lately. Lots of old faves but currently stuck on one i hadn't listened to as much: Hard Times of Old England. Such a strangely festive tune considering the lyrics. And seems to kinda fit into the turning of the year. #folksong #SteeleyeSpan

Found a neat little article that provides a background for the song which is apparently "an 18th Century song from the reportoire of the Copper family".
