Looking south-ish across the Cowrie Hole towards the Newcastle Ocean Baths. The water covers most of the rocks and is clear enough to show the sandy bits too. A few small waves breaking on the edge of submerged rock platform. Blue sky with a few wispy white clouds high up.

Water at the Cowrie Hole was so gorgeous, went in for a little dip before heading to the Baths.

Just as well i had my swim shoes on because i stepped smack on a bluebottle (stinging jelly fish) as i headed down the sand.

Was probably past its use by date for a sting (it went pop! like bubblewrap) but you can't be too careful. #ocean #CowrieHole #beach #NewcastleNSW
Looking across the wet sand and rocks to the ocean horizon. The water is beautifully clear as it swishes over the rocks and a gorgeous blue further out with narrow fringes of white. Blue skies with only a few wings of white cloud, mostly to the left.
