Although I'm in favour of eating healthy, I have never got into fruit. My mum used to offer it all the time when I was hungry, and it was simply ineffective. So it just seems like something that I could eat AS WELL AS the food I need to stop myself being hungry.

I kinda envy the people who it works for.
I don’t eat a lot of fruit really & that’s because when I cut all sugars from my diet years ago & then reintroduced fruit I found it so sweet & still do. Especially some fruits like grapes, I can’t eat more than half a dozen before it becomes just too much & sickly.
Strawberries are tart, as are raspberries. Blueberries aren't really all that sweet, either. Pawpaw has a sort of tartish taste.
Grapes can be too sweet, for sure. @DrFriendless
There’s a hydroponic strawberry farm not far from here & it’s strawberries are some of the largest & sweetish I’ve ever tasted. I love blueberries, they’re the perfect berry for me. Raspberries can be tart, but growing conditions can sweeten them as well.
