So, true story. For a brief period, I spent some time in a fundamentalist Christian church (I was exploring different religions as a young teen). I kid you not when I tell you that some of those folks, especially #ChristoZionists, truly believe that bringing about #WorldWar3 will cause the "Messiah" to return. Ummmm... I saw right through that crappo -- talk about a #DeathCult!

IMO, the "born again's" have always been a scary segment of Christianity. Now they're rooting for the end times... how is this any different from other fundamentalist zealots?

Not any different. I know of apocalyptic cults in Japan and other places. To me, anyone who espouses destroying Creation is truly evil. We should be holding up Nature and Mother Earth -- not exploiting and destroying them!
