#Soccer #Football #MastodonFC was listening to the Everton Liverpool match commentary on TalkSport radio and the commentator said “it was between a red and a yellow card. So a pink card maybe”. Surely halfway between red and yellow is orange? FFS?
He also was talking about the handball rule how it used to be about 5 years ago but he thought was current. Obviously having no knowledge of the rules of football is no hindrance to being a #football commentator.
🤣🤣🤣
my son plays a lot of football, was with the Albion for 6 seasons, which is what got me into it. The number of parents that have no idea of rules or tactics but still happy to shout nonstop is bonkers.
that’s a bit less funny and more tragic.
☹️. I was pretty anti-football mainly as I was utterly shit at it at school and always last picked for teams. Then turns out my son is good at it and also football mad. So by osmosis or Stockholm syndrome I’ve come to appreciate and enjoy it.
totally! Thankfully my school had a swimming pool so most PE was swimming as very limited outside space.
lacrosse is definitely brutal! Battle Royale style 😄 I went to school in central London, either football on tarmac or swimming for me.
