Selective breeding of animals for their looks is an abomination

The Scottish Fold Cat, made popular by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran could be banned in Britain after a government report found it had inheritable health issues.

However, the genes that give them the unusual look also cause many of them crippling pain when they run, jump or play thanks to defective cartilage formation.

As with some dogs this is vanity cruelty.
