Community turns ancient oak into single-tree table in Devon woodland

Now that really is a table - 18m of it.

We had a number of trees come down in a storm 5 years ago, but have reached an agreement with a local carpenter, they take a lot of the wood we will get furniture back from a percentage of it. But it will take several years yet!
