🧠 Right now I can not imagine to go to a person and let me tested for #autism. I don’t feel ready to get a „positive“ result. Also this kind of test situation..
But I can imagine to face that maybe later in life. When I figured it out myself a bit more first. Maybe. I don’t know.

How is your opinion about getting a diagnosis?
If you got one: Did it help you? Did it bring negative effects for you?
If you don’t: I would love to hear your thoughts, too.

I didn’t because where I live not having also an intellectual disability doesn’t get me access to support, and I can’t afford the financial cost. And I don’t need one working from home. Also, I was able to overcome imposter syndrome.

Self diagnosis/identification is valid! There has been a wonderful resource shared about self identification here but I can’t find it. Please share the link if you read me and know what I’m talking about.

And I forgot to mention that depending on where you live, having an official diagnosis can put you in danger…
