I know this is a loaded subject, the actions aren't going to change a lot, and there are valid arguments to each position but this is a huge deal. Those of us in the US need to carefully consider how we look at civilians in drastic times because, well, *gestures at the entire US political system*. It may not be long before we are the civilians looking for help from international governments.
