Reporter: "You clearly admire President Zelenskyy. So I'm wondering what you thought when you saw the treatment he received in the Oval Office on Friday?"

Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada:
"I think, first of all, it's important every chance we get to lay out the facts as clearly as possible. In 2014, Russia chose to invade Ukraine, to occupy Crimea and parts of Eastern Ukraine. For that, they were kicked out of the G7 and in 2022 they chose to violate the existing ceasefire and invaded Ukraine with the intention of taking Kyiv in three days and the entire country in three weeks. That has failed. Russia continues to try to fight to claim more land in Ukraine, and we could see an end to this war tomorrow if Russia decided to stop its illegal invasion of Ukraine. On Friday in the Oval Office, President Zelenskyy pointed out in so many words that Vladimir Putin is a liar and a criminal and cannot be trusted to keep his word in any way, shape or form, because he has demonstrated time and time again that he will break any agreements. I stand with Volodymyr Zelenskyy and I stand with the people of Ukraine."

Note that these simple historic facts which are public knowledge and can be looked up by anyone, are what were stated by Volodymyr Zelenskyy when Donald Trump responded with, "It is very disrespectful of you to litigate this in front of American media" (found about halfway through the meeting, if you're looking in the videos).

Trump was attempting to spread Putin's "alternate timeline" to the American people, and told Zelenskyy that it is "disrespectful" of him to tell historic truth about what happened in his own country, in front of live video cameras in the US. Think about that...

Donald Trump went absolutely livid when President Zelenskyy gave the American people a free history lesson on live tv, something which he knows his base would never read for themselves.

Too many corporate media outlets are putting out headlines that read, "'Very disrespectful', says Trump" without telling the truth of what he found disrespectful, which was (in his own words) to counter Russian propaganda in front of American media.

To a dishonest man, telling the truth is threatening and disrespectful.
