COVID is not just a respiratory virus. It’s not a cold. It’s not “mild”.

It’s a multi system vascular virus that can do damage throughout your body.

It’s also a novel virus. Five years is not a lot of time in the lifecycle of a new disease. The more we learn, the more obvious it becomes that avoiding infection is critical for long term health.

The precautionary principle should have been applied. We need to be humble and realize that we don’t know how bad things will be in another few years.

So wear a mask. Clean and ventilate the air. Avoid high risk settings. Do whatever you can to minimize your risk of infection. Protect yourself and your communities.

I've reached the last straw, and I have to figure out what the fuck is going on with me and my client.
I am a live-in caregiver and I think my client and I are sharing too much with each other. (germ-wise)
So...
I have a small electrostatic air purifier in storage, I used it after the Cedar fire in 2003. It can clear smoke pretty well, so maybe I can reduce the airborne germs.
It can cover the equivalent of a living room and kitchen, but that's about the size of where I am living, and it was hospital grade when I got it..
Hopefully, I will be able to retrieve it tomorrow.
Also, I ordered a UV light so that I can disinfect our water bottles. I have alkalizing bottles that I refill water bottles with. I can get a dozen or more refills per bottle. But we both use them, I think the easiest solution is to disinfect every time I refill them.
Oh, did I mention, I have a history of antibiotic resistant infections. I've had MRSA several times.
Just so sick of being sick.
