It always kinda bothers me when the studies of #autistic behaviour rely on ‘parents reporting’. Like here. Multilingual household often means more multicultural experience of the parents, therefore broader definition of ‘normal’ behavior for them, so the very same children behavior is less likely to be seen as problematic.
It’s now said so much more that #autism is about internal experiences, not about how society is dissatisfied with your behavior - but still there are studies for some reason that evaluate it based on other people reports.
