I will never forget that the 2nd wave of convoyers arriving in Ottawa on foot were led by 2 guys on horseback, one of them bearing a giant TRUMP 2024 banner. And to this day the convoy remnants outside our House of Parliament carry Trump & US flags.

It's a legal public protest but the optics of using it to support Trump are absolute;y shite for Poilievre and the convoy cause.

I still have a clenched jaw reaction when I see our flag on a truck. Damn them!

I know. I have chosen to take back the flag. I have a red coat with a Canadian flag on it. I wear it when I wear my mask. And when people approach me to cheer as if they think I’m supporting the extreme right, I explain how I do not support that ignorance but that it’s my flag.

They always walk away seriously confused.

I recommend everyone take back the flag. The more of us that do, the less it has value for them. #canada 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
