The author argues that the Murdoch news empire is being cannibalized by the forces Murdoch himself helped unleash, and that this empire is in decline not just in Australia but in the US and the UK too.
Much to think about here. I wonder whether similar forces are at work in countries beyond the English speaking world where moguls have used media power to push their right wing agendas; Bolloré and the late and unlamented ( at least by me) Berlusconi come to mind.
