In 1995, a group of Haitian migrant children detained at the #GITMO launched a desperate attempt at freedom -set fire to tents. Many of the children were weak from a hunger strike. US officials regained control & handcuffed >two dozen young ppl & dragged them away.

They were housed in shoddy tent cities, ill-suited for #detention. When storms came -metal poles of the tents collapsed -camps flooded.

It's TRUMP that should be in Gitmo. He could have been sent there along with all his J6 comrades by Biden after J6, on Jan 20 2021 and the international community would have considered this will within the range of how heads of state deal with failed coup attempts.

Of course, Biden didn't have the guts to get tough and show the MAGA meatheads what "Fuck around and find out" REALLY means.
