Generally speaking, it's easy to differentiate the clout-chasing, performative activists who desperately want to be *seen* "doing good", from the real deal who do it just because they want to do good. The latter wear masks. #intersectionality #AntiAbleism #MaskUp #CovidIsNotOver
Yeah, mask bans, withdrawing vaccinations, cuts to social security for Disabled people - all part of a denialist approach and, dare I say, eugenics as well. If they erase a pandemic and even erase the people most affected by it, they can continue their morally bankrupt economic system much easier.

He truly is grotesque.
I have said that for a long time. I much prefer my enemy to tell me they think I'm a "lefty tosser" rather than a wolf in sheep's clothing careerist who claims "progressive" policies as his own until he gains more power, then dumps them each time. That's much worse.

Corbyn's rather endearing yet naive faith in democracy in an undemocratic system meant that (as with Brexit) he adhered to standards his rivals never would, and so his refusal to outright endorse Rebecca Long-Bailey left the door open for Starmer (who received less votes than "no one") to grab power, which is his favourite thing.

Oh and yeah, universal unconditional vaccinations haven't been an option for a long time, but they're increasingly difficult to access. All part of the ideology and narrative. Where are the conspiracy theorists? I guess they've moved on to the next antisemitic bullshit rather than apologising for being wrong. I mean hell, the Great Barrington Declaration was adhered to in the end anyway, eh.
Clout-chasers also do not tend to last long on Mastodon btw - many of them perceived Bluesky as a godsend as it reminded them more of "good old" Twitter, where algorithms amplified certain accounts over others, rewarding popularity with greater popularity and "status." Mastodon is more of an even playing field. Clout-chasers don't like that so much. They'll join Mastodon, use it for a while to pretty much only promote their own stuff, then say things like "Ah, I didn't enjoy Mastodon too much, it's hard to reach an audience on there." What they mean is: they are in it for themselves only, and don't care about the principles of the Fediverse. Accusing you of being a clout-chaser?!
Oh. Yeah. Bizarre.
