Times and times again I see #FDroid reps bullying developers who dared releasing their apps on it.

I've been considering adding my app to FDroid, but I think I'll go with #Obtanium to avoid pain and drama.
Maybe we've got lost in translation, but could you be kind to link to the exact issue that you are referring to?
2 that come to mind instantly are Organic Maps and Wireguard, but my memory is bad.

The feeling I've seen many times in conversations with open-source devs is frustration with your platform.

One of the recent examples: https://fosstodon.org/@newhinton/113901198552288436
We appreciate the concerns, yet we'd like people to reach and get our side of the story before dropping conclusions from second-hand reports.

Our weekly posts in https://f-droid.org/news explained the issues at the time, tooted here and available via RSS feed.

On point, #wireguard dev pre-emptively removed F-Droid mentions knowing that, added in-app updater bypassing F-Droid app build verification will break our rules and will get their app removed.

#organicmaps devs disagreed that in-map injected Kayak referral links should be flagged as Ads and the use of a map CDN is flagged as NonFreeNet. One year later we find out that secretly the CDN was not running FOSS software, and Kayak links will be opt-in soon, as we asked from the start.

All this info, links to the long discussions and more, could have easily been provided if you (and other interested people) would have pinged us, in public or private: https://f-droid.org/about/#contact

I'm sorry but I have too many commitments in life other than deep diving into fights between devs. I just made an observation.
