An Israeli attack struck tents housing displaced Palestinians on the grounds of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah, with survivors expressing their shock at being targeted in what they thought was a safe area.
A tent for Palestinian journalists was also hit, injuring several reporters.
Journalist Moustafa Jaarour described narrowly escaping injury after leaving his tent moments before a helicopter missile targeted the area.
