The Dutch foreign ministry announced on 21 November that the country “is prepared to act” upon arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal court against Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his former war chief Yoav Gallant.
“If the Israeli leader comes to Dutch soil, he will be arrested,” Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp said at the House of Representatives on Thursday. “The Netherlands implements the Rome Statute 100 percent.”
