The UN has reported that 2024 is the deadliest year for humanitarian workers, with over 320 killed since October 7, 2023, amid the ongoing Gaza war.

Many were killed in the line of duty, including staff from the UNRWA and other aid organizations, while providing critical assistance. The majority of those killed were Palestinian humanitarian personnel.
