Report: German parliament passes a resolution that includes banning public funding for any group “that calls into question Israel’s right to exist or calls for a boycott of Israel”.

100 Jewish artists & intellectuals living in Germany said the resolution would “weaken, rather than strengthen, the diversity of Jewish life in Germany by associating all Jews with the actions of the Israeli government”.

This is why I block the Onion. Let the Jewish people relocate to Germany and give them reparations. Then they can give the land back they stole.
Re "This is why I block the Onion."

You don't like satire?
I don't listen to bull shit, satire is not what we need. We need straight talk.
Nobody can stop anybody boycotting any state or country that does not have a moral code. We can buy any damn thing we choose and leave on the shelf any fascist tat we don't want #BDS

It's okay, everybody can just say 'GFY Likud Party' instead
? Same category i imagine.
The Likud party does not speak for the Israeli people, and it certainly doesn't speak for Judaism.

So, one may loathe the party openly without disparaging the nation or creed, akin to loathing Trumpism without disparaging the United States or the American people, most of whom did not vote for the abominations we are about to endure
Yes; my point was just that these decisions are pure politics, nothing to do with actual facts.
Any laws especially for any group or nationality are a terrible idea, and any exception made for, or in connection with, the Jewish people is bad news for them.

What a beautiful democracy.. Fake freedom
Always.

Most people still think ancient Athens was a democracy - land-owning male citizens, alone, could vote.

The American founding fathers were no different.
