Rescue teams arrived on 3 November at the scene of a massacre in the southern Lebanese town of Khiam, where the bodies of several people were discovered.
At least 20 have been confirmed dead by international and Lebanese Red Cross workers in the Wata al-Khiam area in the lowermost part of Khiam.
Any prior attempt to rescue them had been impossible until 3 November, as Israel “refused to grant access,” according to Al Jazeera.
