The family’s statement laid blame for the deaths with the Israeli government, saying it failed to act in time and was ultimately accountable.

“There is no forgiveness for abandoning them on October 7, and no forgiveness for abandoning them in captivity,” Ofri Bibas said.

Hamas has said that Shiri Bibas and her two children were killed in an Israeli attack while held in captivity in Gaza.
