A 12-year-old Palestinian girl whose face was ripped apart in an Israeli attack is appealing to the world to pressure Israel to let her leave Gaza for medical treatment abroad. The girl, Mazyouna Damo, is unable to eat because of her wounds.

Mazyouna now has no teeth or bone left on one side of her mouth and cheek and is unable to eat. Her mother says she survives on fruit juice.
