Tzipi Hotovely, Israeli ambassador to the UK, sparked controversy on social media after her appearance on Sky News, where she commented on Iran's attack on Israel.

Hotovely said that such attacks would be devastating, warning of the catastrophic impact if missiles were to strike "populated areas" like Jerusalem.

"Just imagine missiles falling on populated areas. Just think about it," Hotovely said.
