French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said on Thursday that France is working on new sanctions against those facilitating the expansion of Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, which are considered illegal under international law.
In July, the UN’s ICJ has ordered Israel to end its occupation of the Palestinian territories “as rapidly as possible” and make full reparations for its “internationally wrongful acts”.
