One thing -- #Russia has never demonstrated good faith. If they had acted in good faith, they would not have invaded #Ukraine in 2022 or seized #Crimea in 2014. While the US should have left no stone unturned to end the conflict in #Ukraine, #France and #Germany have repeatedly talked to #Putin, only for him to meet them with contempt.
