Sapir Amran, an Israeli human rights lawyer who went to the Tarqumiyah crossing in Hebron to document the looting of a Gaza-bound aid convoy yesterday, has described the scenes to Al Jazeera.
Police at the scene protected the activists, giving them “full permission to do whatever they wanted”, Amran said.
“I didn’t see anyone being arrested,” she added. The activists also threatened and physically attacked her for trying to document the incident.
