In Syria the secularist Baath party, under the mass murdering dictatorship of Bashar al-Assad, which was supported by the rancid authoritarian and Shia Iranian government, was defeated by a Israeli-Turkish-US-Sunni Arab backed coalition that used to be known as Al Qaeda Syria; the same folks behind ISIS and the World Tower attacks. Everyone is a sociopath, fraud, and gangster in this region.
