I hope one day history classes in German schools will analyse in detail just how deeply wrong this tweet is. That they will really talk through ALL the immediate and longer term historical context, in detail and in depth, so that they really, really understand just how awful it is. You could do a whole month of teaching on this, really. Sadly, this is not looking likely in today’s Germany but maybe one day. #Gaza
