If we weren't sure how the US public would react to the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, we now have a (partial) answer.
There's been outrage; not at his killing but more at the way the health insurance manages health care provision.
As I said yesterday, if they catch the killer & his actions were motivated by experiences with UH's treatment of a loved one, then the court case is going to see the perpetrator likely elevated to folk hero!
