So, if someone like, say, @jhybe absolutely _must_ talk about #genocide in a German tech event keynote, while 24 hostages are still being held captive, one would expect the minimum decency for that someone to add "... following the atrocious terrorist attacks of #Hamas". 7 words that make all the difference.

Leaving them out is a statement, and it is a statement that I wholeheartedly oppose.
