The thing about #NewYear is the effort people put into it.

If only they'd put that same effort into stopping genocide or ending homelessness instead of cheering on a calendar like a cretin.

When encouraged to do so, people will put great effort into something. The problem is our #corporate overlords will never tell you to put effort into threatening their profits and bringing an end to their rule.
