My last #selfie for the algorithm before I deleted IG last weekend. Goodbye after 12 yrs + 50k followers 👋🏾 I couldn’t have done it if I hadn’t gained some traction here, so thank you for following.

I grew up in #punkrock and #anarchist organizing, so moving to #NonCorporate and #decentralized social media feels full circle. I want my #pottery to be part of a future of thought that represents progress and liberation.

probably less followers here but better quality 😀
the thing is, this post is getting more attention than the majority of my IG posts, even with the 50k followers because the dang old algorithm was coming between me and my audience. That's partly what made me realize I could move on. I'm a #lessismore type anyway :) #qualityoverquantity

well I’m a wannabe potter, and have spent a fair amount of time time in central, east and west Africa (I’ve got fabulous plates/bowls/ovenware from a fantastic pottery in rural Rwanda from when we were there 20+ years ago) and I seriously love your work…
