A storm themed #FootpathFriday and #FingerpostFriday.

Hope everyone is ok out there. It’s certainly pretty wild.
A photo of a footpath leading through a wooden field gate into woodland. A wooden fingerpost minus its sign arm stands on the right, leaning slightly that way. The gate is also looking a bit wonky (could also be the angle of the shot). A large tree in the hedge bank has toppled (again to the right) and its root plate has lifted, taking the gate post with it and jamming the gate closed. Beyond, in the woods, more trees have come down right across the path. The sky shows grey through a web of branches in the tree canopy.
No real drama here - my hair was a bloody mess when I got back from the walk this morning but that's about it 🤣
Everything still in place over there? 😊
the tiles are rattling rather alarmingly but so far nothing lost that we can see🤞. My fence repairs have been undone though 🙄. I think the worst may have passed through but it doesn’t feel like it yet.
So far so good 🥳
We've got another yellow warning here on Sunday. I'm basically leaving everything nailed down until March 😂
Breezy here now, I saw a cottage and a woman on a bike fly over earlier.
Think we missed the worst of it: F7 in the night apparently. Slept thru. Think our bigger one is coming Sunday.

Hope everyone's OK? Anyone heard from our Irish friends this morning?
