As if teachers at US #publicschools haven't had to take money out of their own pockets to buy supplies for themselves and students since the inception of something called "Charter (ie Privatized) Schools" began receiving public funds decades ago... 1991 to be exact, but first broached in 1971. The Democrats NEVER DID SHIT to prevent it. Cite at bottom.

China is destroying communities intact for centuries and trying to force their cutizens into stupid technocratic 'ring cities' that are VERY EFFICIENT for industrial purposes but dehumanize people JUST LIKE US PUBLIC HOUSING, and their educational system is an indoctrination regime as surely as the US system is.

I'm NOT a China fan. Mao is rolling in his grave.
Wait a few decades until their industrial phase of bastardized capitalism collapses. Aamof I'm waiting for future mass insurrection when the chinese ppl realize that if they, per capita, happily motored like Americans, the know planetary supply of oil would last 4 DAYS. Harpers Index, 2000 or so, BEFORE the oilcos all downgraded their reserve supplies. The average Chinese Citizen WILL NEVER have the Western Lifestyle; only the affluent. The latter shouldn't exist in communist societies
Oh yeah. I know that, and that's also my take on what will happen in China at some point in the futire as extractive resources become scarcer.
Now theyre building roads and exotic technocratic bridges to nowhere, and I suspect, in the long run, theyll be used mostly for the same reason as the US interstate highways were planned (albeit denied) military equipment movement. NatSec. Like computers and electronics, civilians end up with tech initially funded for military use.
Russia's development seems more restrained and methodical. China is binging on it's industrially-created wealth. Gonna have a hangover in the 'morning'.
[continued from previous post] the results. The bad things is of course the other classes that was allowed to grow... They try to control with brutal violence on crime (for example bribery). Of course you cannot be rich with work, you have to steal, kill, and bribe :P I dont find secure method, soon or later they will corrupt the state or the state will corrupt them selves... but I am not afraid them about the resources shortage….

ive noted over my lifetime that communism seems to work best in homogeneous societies like Cuba and small african nations where the people are already 'on the same page' regarding how their social systems should function for the general welfare. Unfortunately in many soceties like that, and tribal societies, people no longer rise to power because they're able to provide food, horses, whatever, to their people in need, but because they can obtain better weapons 🧐
I agree on the other post. I dont afraid industry. I am afraid those that own industry & whatever middle class, I am afraid them and the state-bureaucrats. Anyone can live nice with few, as far as you do not steal their basic needs. I am sure theirs culture can be more tolerate than ours. So, it is does no matter if you have no gas for your car as far as you still have trains, and heat in your house. I am not sure but maybe the same for USA, but the capitalist there will not let it.
lets call your example as progenitor communism. It is true that we are social animal that lived in herds of 150-200 ppl. In most case are lived in communistic like life... But also you are wrong, it can work on very large scale with semi-autonomic... Actually the same for anarchism (CNT). The small commune was the village, it is the village anyway and in democracy was the demos (the same thing). (Athens had 134 demos in time of begin, there was local and the whole assemly)

you have to forget ethics, and get in more material thinking. The democracy created because the soldiers was the citizens, you cant do anything without their support. For that reason your "fathers" was allowed the guns... and of course to restore the state in case a dictator get it. (like the oligarchs coup of 411BC, democracy restored by the armed citizen)
Neuropsychological marketing and revolving, eternal, credit debt, has created a society of psychopathic narcissistic gollums. I have little hope for US society in the long run. We've been indoctrinated to hate each other's MARKETED identity, and would turn on each other rather than the marketers of those identities.
True, I was understood it when I heard about malls :P Really they are go for coffee in market instead of something more nature or philosophical or cultural ? :P
This is why internationalism is so important as a general concept. As long as, lets say, US workers are convinced they 'need to' build bombs to kill workers in other places... As long as Teamsters drive through carpenters pickets, because their 'leaders' tell them they should... Free people need to have mechanisms for collaboration with other free people. 1/2
I've always approached politics from a psychological pov and what I see is in organizational structures... vertical hierarchical ones anyway, the psychopaths rise to the top and collaborate with other organizations psychopaths. Somehow indigenous societies can avoid that trap even though typically hierarchical, and it seems to have to do with societal homogeneity. They reject the psychopaths among them as unfit to lead.
I preferred to search the evolution of human kind, that is why the history has huge meaning in our life... I believe this is the reason that USA elite hate it so badly :P
Coffeshops at malls are NOT a center for intelligentsia 🤣 Starbucks?🤣

Ps Shopping malls are going the way of drivein theaters... the 'downtown shopping street' malls too. No one has the money to shop much and most of those streets have nothing people need. At my downtown you can't buy socks, unless spending $30 on Merino wool designer brand socks. Really. You have to go to the town outskirts 1/2 vacant malls Target, or Ross, and those two discount chainstores are having econ probs too
> trying to force their cutizens into stupid technocratic 'ring cities'

Whether wealth or power oriented centralized regimes worry about autonomy and independence of the unorganized. To control you need a setup of dependence for survival an sustainability. So instead of growing rice you can print textbooks and get paid rice.

Communal #autonomy is the enemy to the wealth and power class. Whether it is N.Korea or Luxembourg it makes no difference.
