I wear protective gloves on both hands. I ignored this at first when I started carving and it left ugly stains in the wood. 🫣

yes…. I know about the wood stains. I was trying to calm my mind with a spoon carving when the news of the Trump election came through and I had the muppet cut of an idiot to show to the doctors at the local hoppy. I now have a nice big spoon knife shape in my hand. Hey ho. More protection - and concentration needed.

Oh no, I hope it's not too bad. 🫣 If it's any consolation, I smashed a Twca Cam into the inside of my thigh out of sheer stupidity. I got it new and really wanted to try it out. And I know you're supposed to clamp the piece of wood somewhere, but it shouldn't be between your legs. 🙄

ah - Im fine. Still a bit shy of my chisels tho . Feel a bit better about my own misadventure in the presence of someone who clamped a bit of wood between his thighs 😀
