Die Löffel stammen aus dem ausgekeilten Reststück einer gefällten #Eiche (außer dem langen rötlichen links, der ist aus #Buche). Ich habe einige Abende lang jeweils einen von ihnen geschnitzt. Ich möchte sie verkaufen. Ein Teil des Erlöses (ein schönes Wort: Erlös) soll einen symbolischen Ausgleich zur Fällung schaffen, vielleicht eine Neupflanzung unterstützen, eine kleine Waldaktion, ein Bildungsprojekt oder etwas in dieser Art.

Wenn ihr die Idee unterstützen und einen dieser schönen knuffigen #Heidelöffel erlösen wollt, lasst es mich per DM wissen.

Here is a Flute that I made.
It is designed much like a Native American flute.

It is tuned to a low D4 (294hz) and can play about an octave and a half.

Made from northern white pine which I harvested from an old tree and black leather binding. : ]

Robin Wall Kimmerer schreibt in ihrem Buch "Geflochtenes Süßgras", alles, was wir brauchen, passe in eine Schüssel und könne mit einem Löffel ausgeteilt werden. Diesen Gedanken finde ich sehr schön. Vielleicht mag ich deswegen #Schalen und #Löffel so sehr.

Baby steps.

I made a little #rustic step-ladder for the living room using a maple yoke piece that I ripped down the middle. And I added a removable slide for the junior woodworkers to have a some indoor playground fun.

Vor einiger Zeit war ich mit der #Schmiede zu einer Veranstaltung eingeladen. Dort konnten die Gäste kleine Finnmesserklingen schmieden. Jetzt sind einige der #Messer fertig geworden, ich finde sie sehr schön! Die Griffe sind gedrechselt und haben Kehlen für die Finger.

Jour 5 du #ArtAdventCalendar (yay, j'ai toujours pas oublié) : guirlande !
Projet fait pour apprivoiser ma scie à chantourner et parce que je voulais une petite décoration de noël qui ne soit pas en plastique. Une guirlande en bois me durera des années, sans pour autant contribuer à la production de plastique ^^

Bon par contre j'ai toujours pas réussi à faire de jolie photo de la guirlande sur mon mur (difficile de faire des jolies photos avec la lumière de l'hiver et un mur gris)

Support pour téléphone en bois. C'est un rectangle en bois au veinage marqué, avec deux petites barres peintes en violet pour soutenir le téléphone. Une ligne violette traverse le support pour décorer.

Je découvre le #ArtAdventCalendar alors je m'y met ! Pour le premier jour, je ressort mon premier projet en bois, fais lors de mon CAP ébénisterie. Comme la plupart du temps, en finissant le projet je n'en étais pas content et avec du recul il est vraiment très bien ce guéridon ! Bien sûr le design global n'étais pas de moi mais il est mignon.

Guéridon avec trois étages constitués de plateaux ovales. Les plateaux sont marquetés avec des essences de l'érable (bois blanc tirant sur le jaune) et du noyer (bois d'un marron sombre) pour leurs contraste. Le plateau du dessus a un motif avec des pointes qui se dirigent vers le centre. Celui du milieu a des sortes de zig zag et celui du bas des losanges.
Un plateau ovale décoré avec de la marqueterie. Le motif forme des sortes de flèches qui pointent vers le centre du plateau, en alternant une bande claire (en érable, d'une couleur blanche/jaune) et une bande foncée (en noyer, d'un marron chaud et sombre).

This is the cabinet that I've been working on since May. I still have a few tweaks to make, but it was finished enough to get some Glamour Shots taken.

As soon as I started learning woodworking, I knew that I wanted to do a marquetry pangolin, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
