Am Nachmittag gab es auf der Leipziger Buchmesse eine Präsentation über philippinische #Comics - ein bisher bei diesem Medium kaum beachtetes Land. Ein Vertreter der dortigen Comic-Organisation Komiket stellte die Bemühungen um die Förderung von Comics vor, für die inzwischen sogar die staatliche Buchförderung gewonnen werden konnte. Auch viele Beispiele wurden gezeigt, die eine große inhaltliche und stilistische Vielfalt des philippinischen Comics zeigten.
