I wanted to help someone make a website with WordPress, because that person should be able to design and fill the website by themselves.

Now, with all the shit that is happening there... Is it still a good idea to use WordPress? If not, what would you guys recommend?

Needs to be PHP and selfhostable. (We have a Webserver already!) Also, it needs to be used by someone who isn't that tech savvy. (So no "just code it yourself.")
