And here, I am back with one of the greatest #roads of #Madeira. It is closed now and replaced by many boring tunnels. … but back in 2004 it was outrageous … so small, that you had to drive backwards, if a big bus came from the opposite.
This Picture shows the same road with a big tourists bus coming around the corner. If you had the ‚luck‘ of meeting with one on this road, you had to drive backwards to the last place, where it was possible to get out of the way.
The picture shows the old road on the northern coast of Madeira … here at the ‚Veu da Noiva‘ (Bridestail) warerfall. The road goes through a tunnel behind the waterfall. At the right side of the image you can see a car driving on that road.
This is the view from the other side. At the left side of the Image, you can see how small that street was.
