ended in vain. The word “climate” is nowhere to find.

IMHO the questions are rather vague, e.g.:
As best you can tell, do you approve or disapprove of Donald Trump’s policies and plans for the future? (p. 8)

… simply “policies and plans” and nothing more in detail. 🤷
