I was part of a really excellent thread on here the other day about de-eviling our tech setups. I was aware that Mozilla had lost its way but not the extent of it. Glad I'm doing my Big Tech De-Eviling tomorrow.

Lost their way is one way to put it.

But the Netscape founder is a big Trump supporting libertarian and the former Mozilla head is a homophobe who tried to prevent gay marriage from happening.

So I think #Mozilla was always an uneasy alliance between libertarians and progressives who both valued privacy.
