The door handle already seems impossible to turn. There is no leverage. I seriously thought it was just a way to grab the door, but a badly designed one, with a way too small grabbing area.
these are common in snowy places with exposed stoops. But the issue remains. Usually they're about 6-12" back matching the eave.
I was wait listed all through college for a human factors engineering course. Not because it was full but we could never get more than 10 students. In a damn engineering and architecture school.
