A #ceasefire agreement between #Lebanon and #Israel is on the brink of being accepted. There's a lot to say about that.

First, there's that old phrase, "in asymmetrical warfare a guerrilla force wins as long as it doesn't loose, while a professional army looses as long as it doesn't win". What does this mean? As long as a guerrilla force or resistance movement continues to exist it can fight another day and recruit more members, even if they don't win any battle.
