I've got a Pixelfed instance up and running, but it's not properly fetching info / activities from other servers. I can search for users, see profiles and follow them, but it looks as if their following / follows are 0 and that they have never posted. Plus my own follow count remains at 0 and my timeline empty.

The Diagnostics troubleshooting gives a ✅ for everything, and there are no errors in the logs. Any ideas how to further troubleshoot?

Thank you for replying. I had not considered other servers being overworked at the moment, and I have had a couple of things trickle in now. Yes perhaps its just very slow initiating federation. I've been meaning to install Pixelfed for months, but decided to to do it now, so my own fault lol. I'm hoping to catch new users testing it out though, so I can give them follows and interactions. Help grow the fedi nurturing immigrants from insta looking for a new home.
